However, thanks to a unique peanut protein, which is partially defatted, Manilla can be used in large quantities all year round. As with any boilie in the Sticky range, the strength of Manilla comes from more than one ingredient. The rest of the bait is made up of refined milk proteins and birdfoods all of which have a great track record. The instant attraction, and the namesake of the range, comes from a completely natural, pure Madagascan vanilla extract that will not only result in quicker bites but also make you want to eat the whole bag yourself! Our shelf life baits are as close to the freezer bait versions as possible, with the only difference being the addition of a natural preservative. This opens the bait up for use across Europe and ensures people who are unable to store freezer baits can still use our range of baits.

Following its incredible impact over standard baits, we are delighted to introduce the new Krill Active Shelf Life, which undergoes the same processes as the freezer version. Utilising special machinery, liquids are pumped into the bait, which is then combined with powders to create a durable, yet super soluble and attractive paste wrap. Once submerged in water, this outer coating breaks down slowly, releasing levels of attraction that far surpass that of a standard boilie. Thanks to our use of pure liquids, with high natural salt content, our Krill Active Shelf Life boilies are as close to fresh as we can possibly make them, with minimal preservatives, while still retaining their useability and ease of storage with no need to freeze. They are the biggest step forward in off-the-shelf bait for decades! Our Active baits have out fished standard boilies on every instance, due to their abundance of ammino acids which create a natural feeding trigger for carp!

Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same process as all our Active boilies, which involves a two-stage coating made up of super soluble liquids along with fine, high-grade powders. The result is a paste layer, which surrounds each bait in a cocoon of attraction, once submerged, this breaks away, leaving a cloudy halo around each bait. Just like the freezer bait counterpart, Manilla Active Shelf Life is specifically designed to release its attractor package even in the coldest water temperatures, meaning the outer coating will break away incredibly quickly even in the winter months. This attribute is why it’s such a brilliant instant bait despite the limiting factors that cold water carp fishing entails. Sweet, nutty and incredibly digestible, Manilla Active Shelf Life uses the same formula of milk proteins and refined nut proteins used in the freezer bait but with the addition of the smallest amount of preservative we can. Our Active Shelf Life range uses natural salts found in the hydrolysates used in the coating process to preserve them without reducing their effectiveness or their ‘active’ nature. With this in mind, Manilla Active Shelf Life has a slightly shorter use by date, compared to that of standard Manilla Shelf Life. Our Active boilies are the biggest step forward in off the shelf bait in decades and are sure to give you an edge.

Designed to replicate our Bloodworm boilies, the Bloodworm Dumbells are made using the same base-mix, only with added soluble attractors.
